About the artist

Nihal MazloumNihal Mazloum is an artist jeweler of Egyptian origin. A graduate in Anthropology from the American University of Cairo, and holder of a Masters in Ethnology from the Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes in Paris, she moves to Quebec in 1978.

Inspired by myths and legends of the past, her jewelry has a sacred side often absent in our modern world.

Enriched with diverse cultures, Nihal Mazloum has given her creations a special light. The artist marries gold and silver to precious and semi-precious stones and sculpts in the metal the symbols of historical moments of daily life.
