About the jewels

Nihal Mazloum's jewelsThe metals I use to produce my jewelry are mainly Sterling Silver or 14 or 18Kt gold. On occasion, I use such metals as bronze, brass, copper, niobium or titanium to add a touch of color.

The stones I set are either precious stones such as rubis, saphire, or emeralds or semi-precious such as amethysts, tourmalines, topaz, garnet, lapis lazuli, turquoise, moonstones, onyx , or malachite.

My jewels are either hand sculpted in wax and then cast by the lost wax technique, or directly made with sheets and metal wire using traditional jewelry techniques such as sawing, hammering , filing , sanding , soldering, fusion, polishing, sand blasting, and stone setting.

My jewelry often has some symbolic meaning and is inspired by the history of ancient civilizations.
